A storyteller who gets others to face fears and tell stories. In November 2019, Roxy made history by being the youngest woman elected to serve as Bowie City Councilwoman and the first African American woman to represent District 4 within the State of Maryland. Roxy was recognized and appointed by Governor Hogan and County Executive Angela Alsobrooks to the Maryland State Board of Waterworks, most recently the Maryland State Board of Affordable Housing, and the African Diaspora Advisory Board for Prince George’s County, MD.
