Movies Around the City

 Movie nights are back!

Tonight's family Zumba Dance Party & Movie Night has been canceled due to inclement weather. This event will be rescheduled to a later date; rain date to be determined.

We lined up a few great movies to kick off our 2022 season.

“Happy Feet” has been canceled due to inclement weather. Rain date to be determined.

“Babe”, everyone’s favorite pig, will be shown on the big screen at Belair Mansion as part of our Heritage Weekend celebration on May 21. The movie begins at dusk (around 8:45 p.m.).

In honor of the Juneteenth holiday, the City will host a very special outdoor movie event on June 17. “Hidden Figures” will be shown at Allen Pond Park at dusk (9 - 9:15 p.m.). The movie celebrates the contributions of African American women at NASA who were known as "human computers" and instrumental in one of our nation's greatest achievements - launching the first astronaut into space. (Learn more about Bowie’s Juneteenth plans at www.cityofbowie.org/juneteenth.)

Showings are free and take place under the stars. Attendees may bring food and a blanket or lawn chairs.
