City of Bowie Procurement
The City of Bowie has a procurement process that is designed to be completed in an efficient and effective manner and that conforms to the highest ethical standards in the industry. The City’s procurement professionals provide all of the City’s purchasing functions in accordance with the legal authority established by Section 61 of the City Charter and Section 19A of the City Code.
SDAT Good Standing Requirement
All vendors conducting business with the City of Bowie must to be registered with the Maryland Department of Assessments and Taxation (SDAT). For information on registration vendors should call SDAT at 410-767-1340. The City of Bowie verifies all vendors’ status with SDAT.
eMaryland Marketplace Advantage
The City of Bowie utilizes eMaryland Marketplace Advantage to publish all solicitations for competitive procurements over the amount of $25,000. Bids and offers are submitted through eMaryland Marketplace Advantage to the City of Bowie.
