Utilities Division
The City of Bowie Utilities Division is responsible for maintaining approximately 175 miles of water and sewer mains. Typical problems include water main breaks, discolored water, no water, fire hydrant problems, backups at manholes, sewer breaks, and missing manhole covers. The Utilities Division is also responsible for all storm drains within the city.
Storm Drains
The City of Bowie maintains all storm drains in all residential areas within the city (whether they are at the street or in common areas). Please contact the Public Works Department at 301-809-2344 to report any problems with storm drains.
