Memorial  Day Parade

Bowie’s Memorial Day Parade is scheduled for Saturday May 29, 2021

The Memorial Day Parade is a time to show your patriotism and to salute the memory of those fallen heroes who gave their lives to defend our nation.

The 2021 parade is scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2021. It begins at 11 a.m. sharp at the Bowie High School Annex (3021 Belair Drive). The parade marches down Belair Drive toward Annapolis Road and continues right onto Sussex Lane, and then makes another right onto Stonybrook Drive where the reviewing stand is located. It ends with a left turn onto Sage Lane.

The reviewing stand will be located in Acorn Hill Park. There will also be concession stands and restrooms in the park.  The open area on Sussex Lane and Acorn Hill Park are both wonderful locations for viewing the parade.

Join the call to be part of this community celebration and remembrance. Bring your flags and wear red, white and blue to show your hometown pride and remember the heroes of our Armed Forces who fought for our freedoms and made this day possible for you to enjoy.

Registration information for 2021 parade participants will be posted here beginning in February.

To all of our veterans out there, we thank you for your service!
