Bowie Government Channel (Verizon 10 / Comcast 71/996 (HD)
The City of Bowie operates Verizon Channel 10/Comcast Channel 71. (Channel 996 is the HD version of the channel on Comcast.) City Council meetings and other city government meetings are broadcast on this channel. In addition, resident information and announcements about upcoming city events and meetings are advertised here. Videos about city-sponsored special events, such as the parade and Bowiefest also run on this channel.
Council meetings are broadcast live and rebroadcast on Wednesday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. Meetings are also available as videos on demand (www.cityofbowie.org/viewmeetings).

Bowie Community Media Corporation (Verizon 11 / Comcast 77)
The Bowie Community Media Corporation (BCMC) is a non-profit organization supported by a grant from the City of Bowie to produce community programs. City of Bowie residents interested in producing shows for public access television must be trained and pay an annual fee. Producers must also complete a studio form and a BCMC form available on the BCMC website.
This channel also runs public service announcements and event announcements relating to the Bowie community. To submit a request to post an item to the BCMC Community Bulletin Board, email or call 301-814-3057.
Public Safety Channel and Baltimore News (Verizon 12 / Comcast 78)
Information about public safety is broadcast on this channel. In addition, as a service to residents who can no longer receive Baltimore news as part of their local channels packages on Comcast and Verizon, the City of Bowie has arranged with WJZ in Baltimore to broadcast their news on Channel 12/78. News is broadcast at the following times:

City of Bowie Television Studio
