Virtual Stakeholders Meeting - Millstream Branch Stream Restoration

The Public Works Department has been implementing a variety of stormwater improvement projects in Bowie, as required by the State of Maryland to improve the quality of Bowie’s streams and the Chesapeake Bay. One of these projects, currently in design, is a restoration project for the stream between Belair Town II and Victoria Heights neighborhoods.
This project will include tree removal, stabilization of the stream banks, and the creation of in-stream pools, and native plantings. The public is invited to a virtual Stakeholders Meeting on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. You must register here in advance at to receive the meeting link. City staff will provide information on what to expect during construction and will answer questions.
