Upon arrival we will have a guided tour of the Kennedy Center. Then, enjoy lunch on your own at the Kennedy Center Café or bring lunch to eat indoor or outside on the roof terrace. At 1:30 p.m. the hills will become alive in this brand new production of The Sound of Music, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien. The spirited, romantic, and beloved musical story of Maria and the von Trapp Family will once again thrill audiences with its award–winning Best Score by Rodgers & Hammerstein including Climb Every Mountain, Do -Re- Mi, Edelweiss, and many more. Bring family and friends 5 years and up! This trip opens April 6th in order to meet contractual obligations. There must be 35 participants by June 5th.
