The Bowie Police Department is proud to again host the Law Enforcement Torch Run. This year's event takes place on Thursday, June 6, 2019. The starting line this year is located at 6908 Laurel Bowie Road (Bowie Plaza) and the race begins at 9 a.m. The registration table will open at 8 a.m. The run is a 5K route and will end at the Chick-Fil-A parking lot at Bowie Marketplace (15505 Annapolis Road, Bowie). This event is open to the public as its purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland.
