[ARCHIVED] September 11 National Day of Service and Day of Remembrance

The City of Bowie will honor the lives of the nearly 3,000 Americans killed in the coordinated attacks upon the World Trade Center in Lower Manhattan, the Pentagon in Washington, DC and on the plane that went down in Shanksville, Pennsylvania by hosting a day of service on Saturday, September 11, 2021. We will have various service opportunities such as a toiletry drive, Summer's End Children's Program, Weed Warrior's park clean up, Sidewalk Overgrowth Removal, door-to-door wellness checks, and helping clean the Gabriel Network's Storage shed. For more information on these volunteer opportunities, please visit http://www.cityofbowie.org/sept11.
