Mill Branch Crossing
An application to construct apartments and townhomes in the new Mill Branch Crossing development were submitted by Green Branch, LLC and GBR Mill Branch, LLC. The development is about 64 acres northeast of the intersection of US 301 and Mill Branch Road (across 301 from Excalibur Road). Staff held a virtual stakeholders meeting on February 1, 2022 (view the meeting video), and the Bowie Advisory Planning Board heard the case on February 8, 2022 (view the meeting video). City Council has this project on its agenda for February 22, 2022.
Melford Townhome Architecture
St. John Properties, Inc. has filed a request for a revision to its approved Detailed Site Plan (#DSP-18034-02) for the Melford Village townhome architecture. The project was heard by the Bowie Advisory Planning Board on February 8, 2022 (view the meeting video), and it will be on City Council's agenda for February 22, 2022. The developer is requesting a revision to the Conceptual Site Plan for Bowie Gateway Center to allow a proposed 3,331 square foot Raising Cane’s restaurant with drive-thru service at the location of the former Chili’s restaurant on Heritage Blvd. A virtual stakeholders meeting was held on February 9, 2022 (view the meeting video), and it will be heard by City Council on March 7, 2022.
