[ARCHIVED] 2022 Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics is June 11

TORCH RUN 2022

The Bowie Police Department is thrilled to once again host the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run through Bowie, Maryland. Join Bowie officers and staff as they carry the Flame of Hope in support of the incredible athletes of Special Olympics Maryland. 

Saturday, June 11, 2022, 8 a.m.
Bowie Plaza
(Near Dunkin')
6796 Laurel Bowie Road, Bowie

FEE $15 per entry (includes one t-shirt). This event is a group fun run and is open to all! However, we do encourage adult runners only as to keep a steady pace on major roadways. A bus will be available for anyone who may need to take a rest. The Special Olympics LETR's committed purpose is to raise awareness and funds for the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland. As such, the Torch Run is never a race but rather a fun group with a single goal in mind. Thank you for your support!
