Arbor Day

The City of Bowie is celebrating Arbor Day! This annual event will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023, beginning at 10 a.m., at Acorn Hill Park, located at the intersection of Stonybrook Drive and Sage Lane. Light refreshments will be provided.

Drug Takeback Day

The Bowie Police Department is a participating collection site for the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. This national event is free and allows community members to dispose of old and unused drugs safely. Drugs that will be accepted include prescription and over-the-counter medications and veterinary medicine.

**Needles, lancets, and aerosols cannot be accepted** The collection will occur on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Bowie Police Department at City Hall, 15901 Fred Robinson Way.

Earth Day Celebration - CANCELED

Due to forecasted rain in late afternoon. There is no rain date this spring. We expect to hold a similar event in September.
