The Hyundai Motor Company has provided Bowie PD with free steering wheel locks to protect your vehicle due to the nationwide rise in Hyundai and Kia motor vehicle thefts. Visit the Police Information Center (15456 Emerald Way) on July 17 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. to receive one. The event is first come, first serve and owners must provide proof of Kia or Hyundai vehicle ownership and City of Bowie residency.
