The Bowie Farmers' Market celebrates the harvest season with Octoberfest activities on Sunday, October 22, 2023. The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon. Octoberfest activities are from 10 a.m. to noon.

Scarecrow Making

Come out and make a scarecrow with us! Participants need to bring an old pair of pants, a long-sleeved shirt, and a nylon stocking/pantyhose (for the head) make a scarecrow. The market will supply the straw and the know-how.

Pumpkin Painting

Painting pumpkins is a great way to decorate and celebrate the season. Participants will need to bring their own pumpkin or purchase one at the market.
