It is time to start taking advantage of the many benefits that trees provide. Add beauty, shade, and privacy to your yard. Beginning September 1st, $50 and $100 City tree rebates are available on a first come, first served basis for City of Bowie residents who would like to purchase up to two trees at Patuxent Nursery (2410 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD). This program will be available until $10,000 in rebates are exhausted or until June 5, 2015. There are 10 species of trees eligible for the rebate, although, some tree species availability may be limited.

Eligible tree species for the rebate must be at least 1/2 caliper inch and cost at least $100 in total cost (tree cost plus delivery cost minus other rebates and coupons). Eligible tree species that are 30 feet or less in maximum height are eligible for a $50 rebate, and eligible tree species that are more than 30 feet in maximum height are eligible for a $100 rebate. Two tree rebates are allowed per household. If your household participated in the $100 Spring 2014 tree rebate program, you are eligible for one additional tree rebate.
