[ARCHIVED] Bowie Heritage Day is May 17th

Each year, the City of Bowie celebrates its long and colorful heritage in May. Join us on May 17, at all city sites between noon and 4, for a host of activities and a LOT of fun! Belair Stable will feature the Durham Station Bluegrass Band, free pony rides, hands on activities for kids, and a chance to explore Bowie's horse history. Bowie’s Big Purple Barn will be bringing rescued horses and “Ruby,” the famous chicken!

Belair Mansion will be open for tours and will feature a chamber music concert by the Capitol Reeds at 12:30 and the Blue Sky Puppet Theater will be performing "The Three Pigs" at 3 p.m.

The Bowie Railroad Museum will host the Ntrack Modelers from Baltimore and The Lego Lady and her train set up.
