How do I know the camera was functioning properly at the time of my violation?: The entire system undergoes a thorough self-check prior to and at the end of each deployment. The results of the testing are captured in the computer and are recorded. The cameras will only operate if all the components are working properly and will automatically shut down in the event an error is detected. The equipment must then be re-tested and manually re-started before recording additional images.
