The City of Bowie requests proposals from qualified and experienced firms to provide architectural and engineering design services for all aspects of the planning and design of a new single sheet ice arena.  The site is an unused area of the Bowie Golf Club located at 7704 Laurel Bowie Road, Bowie, MD.   Specifications and bid documents are available at no cost by emailing your request to Carissa Sullivan (). 

            Electronic (pdf) proposals will be received via email to Carissa Sullivan at  until 12 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject all proposals.

            Interested bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Proposal Meeting scheduled Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall located at 15901 Fred Robinson Way, Bowie, MD  20716 in Room 243.  A site-visit will be conducted by the Project Manager after the meeting for the purpose of familiarizing attendees with the site.

            All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Request for Proposal shall be submitted by email to Carissa Sullivan at .  Deadline for inquiries is 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2023. Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued no later than Tuesday, February 21, 2023 to all those who request the RFP.

            The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a proposal.
