The City of Bowie, Maryland requests bids to extend electric service to, and furnish and install a new metal security fence with associated security systems and equipment to enclose the Bowie Senior Center Bus Lot. Specifications and bid documents are available at no cost by emailing your request to Robin Jones (). 

Electronic (pdf) bids will be received via email to Robin Jones at until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023. The City of Bowie reserves the right to reject any bids.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. at the Senior Center bus parking lot (rear of building) located at 14900 Health Center Drive, Bowie, MD  20716.  

All questions or requests for clarifications regarding this Invitation for Bids shall be submitted by email to Robin Jones at no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023.  Written responses to all questions and/or clarifications will be issued no later than Thursday, April 27, 2023 to all those who request the IFB.

 The City encourages certified disadvantaged business entities to submit a bid.
