Bowie Playhouse - "A Piece of My Heart"2018-11-10T14:00:00A Piece of My Heart provides an absorbing and moving experience about a tumultuous period in American history—the Vietnam War. It is a powerful, true drama about six women who went to Vietnam: five nurses and a country western singer booked by an unscrupulous agent to entertain the troops. The play portrays the courageous story of each young woman as she struggles through the experiences that leave scars yet triumphs as a result of their tour through the war-torn nation. With the backdrop of the memorial wall in Washington, A Piece of My Heart is a salute to the men and women who represented our country during a divisive era.
