Virtual Public Hearing #1 on the FY 24 -28 Consolidated Plan

This virtual meeting will display the initial findings for the City's Consolidated Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City of Bowie is an Entitlement Community, and the Consolidated Plan is a requirement to receive CDBG funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Every five years, the City must develop a new Consolidated Plan for Community Development which identifies community needs and proposed solutions in the areas of Housing, Special Needs, Economic Development, and Non-Housing Community Development. The City’s CDBG activities will benefit low- and moderate-income persons in various parts of the City based on citizen input, fiscal requirements, HUD program requirements, and the eligibility status of participants.
