Michael Esteve is a lifelong resident of the City of Bowie. He graduated from DeMatha Catholic High School in 2008, and holds a B.A. from Loyola University Maryland.
Michael began working for Bowie residents managing constituent services in the Maryland State Senate. He went on to work in the private sector as a community banker, securing loans for small businesses in and around Bowie. Michael now works as a development analyst for a local technology firm.
Michael has served Bowie as a volunteer charity organizer for the USO, Wounded Warrior Project, and the Maryland Special Olympics. He has also volunteered as a peer tutor, and food drive organizer supporting the Bowie Interfaith Food Pantry. Michael served on the Bowie Community Outreach Committee, working with county agencies on homelessness issues and with city committees studying proposed development projects in Bowie.
He attends Ascension Catholic Church in Old Bowie and serves as a Trustee with Collington Lodge, No. 230.
In November 2015, Michael was elected as the youngest serving member of the Bowie City Council.
